Many of you have been waiting for the return of our SMI motors over the past few months. We are therefore delighted to announce that our LL-SMI motors are now back in stock, and orders can once again be shipped immediately.

With SMI (Standard Motor Interface) technology, you benefit from a proven solution for the intelligent control of shading systems. The standardized bidirectional communication between the controller and the motor ensures reliable integration into modern building automation and solar shading systems.

After joining forces, we continue to shape and strengthen our organization step by step. While many processes are still being aligned, we would like to keep you informed with a transparent update on our current progress. Our collaboration is now operating under the umbrella of the BREL Vestamatic Group. Vestamatic International GmbH represents the group under this brand, while Brel Nederland B.V. continues to maintain its independent presence in the market.

Looking ahead, we are planning to launch a new product catalogue and price list in autumn 2026. These will reflect the further development of our portfolio and provide you with improved clarity and guidance. At the same time, we are gradually updating our documentation and transitioning to a new, standardized format. Additional datasheets are also being developed to present technical information in a clearer and more structured way.

From our headquarter in Mönchengladbach, we will increasingly manage sales activities for our existing customers across various regions. Customers in the Netherlands and Belgium will continue to be supported directly by our colleagues at Brel in the Netherlands.

We are aware that the availability of certain products is currently still fluctuating. We are working continuously to stabilize the situation and expect product availability to return to normal levels by the end of 2026.

The Vesta Home Radio Timer expands our product portfolio with a new wireless timer solution for BREL radio-controlled drives, making it easier than ever to combine programmable timers with the BREL radio system.

The Vesta Home Radio Timer is suitable for a wide range of applications, including roller shutters, awnings, ZIP screens, external and internal venetian blinds, pleated blinds, honeycomb blinds, Roman blinds and roller blinds. For even greater convenience, the Vesta Home Radio Timer offers a variety of programming options. In addition to individually programmable weekly schedules, it features an astronomical timer based on sunrise and sunset as well as a random mode for presence simulation. This ensures your shading system operates automatically at the right time.

The Vesta Home Funktimer is compatible with a wide range of BREL radio components and can easily be integrated into existing BREL radio systems. Compatible devices include the THW 3001 and THW 3015 handheld transmitters as well as the RW231 light sensor. In addition, many other BREL transmitters and wind & sun sensors can also be paired with the timer.
