The BUSbar
- A pluggable, efficient, and cost effective electrical installation system for SMI drives (5P)
In collaboration with partners, Vestamatic has designed a wiring solution that enables fast, secure, and reliable installations using SMI.
- We solve the problem to manage the T-Connections with SMI, which, when not planned properly, result in messy on-site installations.
- Together with our partners, we designed a solution to deliver a flat cable with pluggable, branded BUSbar:
Plan the wiring for 230V SMI motor applications using a BUSbar:
- 1: Supply Vestamatic with the layout of the building, the blind position, and control position.
- 2: Choose connector on the motor side: Hirschmann, STAS4, WD GST, WD RST, WG Mini, WG Midi, WZ.
- 3: Define Cable length from Motor to BUSbar.
- 4: Define possibility to use pre-assembled extension leads with connector to BUSbar.
- 5: Define cable length on power supply unit.
