Our headquarters based in Mönchengladbach, Germany, is the location of our headquarters and facilities for production, quality control and assembly. Siek, next to Hamburg is the Vestamatic science centre for product development and testing.

Vestamatic is also a market partner for industry customers. We develop customised OEM motor drives and control systems ready for market launch, including the development of software, product housing development, product engineering, testing, retesting and qualification.

1978

Trademark registration

Vestamatic was registered in 1978 as a trademark with the idea of delivering solutions for the fast-growing market of motorised shutters. Helmut Beyers, the founder, created a spirit of translating customer demand into products. He engineered products and successfully sold solutions.

2001

Company foundation

With the growth of Vestamatic and the manufacturing business, the Beyers family split the operation into two entities – Helmut Beyers GmbH (manufacturing) and Vestamatic (development and sales).

2006

Launching of 24VDC Motors

Vestamatic – known for automation – launches first range of digital SMI motors using 24VDC.
Motors are for Venetian Blinds and make an outstanding start in delivering large contract installations.

New facilities

With the rise of electronics in the early 2000s, Vestamatic moved into new facilities in Mönchengladbach. The site was equipped with modern SMT machines, THT assembly and structured testing.

Launching of VESTALINE and LOVOLINE

Vestamatic launches new range of 230VAC and 24VDC motors and registers trademarks VESTALINE for 230VAC and LOVOLINE for 24VDC applications.

Science Centre

A new site is established to develop, test and engineer product solutions without the day-to-day diversion of the operational business. In Siek, close to Hamburg we created a tech centre to run Vestamatic Engineering centrally.

VESTALINE Block Motors 230V

Vestamatic launches range of block motors in cooperation with Dunker Antriebstechnik. Focus on a digital drive version of a quiet motor designed for building management systems targeting sun tracking and exact positioning seamlessly.

New Lovoline Range

Vestamatic launches new Lovoline motor series for roller blinds, venetian blinds, roman shades and pleated blinds in side and centre installation.

Launch of detectorline Light Automation range

Vestamatic launches a new range of sensors for movement, presence, VOC, acoustic, and temperature to manage light and shading.

New Assembly Site

Vestamatic launches new assembly site in Mönchengladbach, 500m away from the PCB production.
