OEM & Custom Engineering

At Vestamatic, as part of our industry service, we have been operating as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) since our establishment in 1978. Collaborating closely with our customers, we develop products ready for market release under their own branding. Our comprehensive process covers the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution. This includes software development, product housing design, engineering, rigorous testing, and final qualification. Our OEM Services have fostered long-term relationships with customers who rely on Vestamatic’s manufacturing expertise and our ability to adapt products to evolving market needs.

Additionally, our technical engineering expertise enables us to address specific problem-solving issues for existing projects requiring upgrades, as well as meet the demands of new buildings seeking special features and functionalities. Accustomed to project timelines and demands, Vestamatic facilitates the design and manufacturing of customized solutions that not only expedite installation but also provide additional features to secure contracts or develop modules for seamless integration of legacy systems with new technology.

Engineed Solutions - Custom Solutions for Project Installations

We successfully engineer solutions to meet the demands of commercial shading installations.

New Projects

Existing Installations

Examples of Engineered Solutions:

Problem

A commercial building required the replacement of interior Venetian blinds through roller blinds without replacing existing cabling and connectors being installed in the window frame. All standard motor solutions were incompatible.

Solution

Vestamatic engineered a plug adaption, allowing for the connection of the old cable/ connector to the new cable/ connector for future operation. Cabling didn’t need replacing, saving time and money by re-using existing parts for the customer and adpating old and new with the help of Vestamatic.

Problem

A new shading installation encountered issues with control housing units not fitting with wiring within the buildings cavity space. Wiring needed to be fed from the reverse side on the wall to MC P4 housing units.

Solution

Units adapted with laser cutting for custom cable connection points to run through the back of each unit. More than 1000 motors are controlled using the housing unit adaption.

Problem

Vestamatic roller shutter controls are popluar with the use of sun sensors wired to the inside of the window. With existing installs, the control units are placed to the window requiring a cable connection.

Solution

Vestamatic designed a 2m cable connection on demand for a customer, to deliver a specific solution with a connector to Vestamatics roller shutter series with Quattro, Time Control, Shutter Control and Touch Control.
